That's me on the tiger rug circa 1967. I was a baby ahead of my time... but it also helps to have good genes. My mom and dad have always been snappy dressers, so I guess it comes as no surprise that I am a clothes (and shoe... and bag... and jewelry...) horse. I love to shop. I'm not ashamed. Finding a great buy or a special piece by a coveted designer gives me a great thrill. I've spent many an afternoon hosting an impromptu fashion show at a friend's house. After a good many years dreaming about it, I have decided to do it: my own shop, Sadie Shop. Now I can share the good stuff with everyone.

This site is more than just a place to buy things. My hope is that it will feel just like your living room (where those fashion shows go on). There is a place to rummage thru trunks of vintage and 2nd hand treasures (Sadie's attic) and a place to learn about the designers who make the cool threads.

A whirlwind of a summer is already flashing by in front of our eyes! We just returned from another fantastic trip to London where we spent lots of time in our favorite market haunts. Rogan Gregory line for Target - Oh yes! Not since the early days of Luella for Target has there been a "Go International" designer that had us stumped for choice. Proenza Schouler and Behnaz Sarafpour charmed us with Proenza's satin tank dress and Sarafpour's amazing selection of jackets; but, sorry Jovovich Hawk, you just didn't do it for us. Go get yourself some Target Rogan before it's too late!
